Detective Conan

Hello everybody. Ok so not sure if I said it on here but this past weekend I had to do a factory reset on my computer so I lost everything. Oh well though, I threw this together since I finally got photoshop up and running again (plus I needed a new wallpaper and love this show.) Well I hope you think it's swell.

Say whaaaaaaatttttt

Hey there everybody just checking in letting you know what's going on. I am working on stories and art for you all to feast your minds on however at the end of last week my computer goofed and I had to do a factory reset. Yeah, not so good considering I lost everything, all art, writing I've done. EVERYTHING :'( But, what can you do? I'm over and I've decided I am just going to keep plugging away and keep creating and staying positive about everything. Anyways today is a Monday which is foreign movie Monday. Foreign movie Monday (FMM) is something me and my friend started on a Thursday actually but then decided to make it a regular thing and chose Monday's. We've seen so far "I saw the devil" which was absolutely fantastic and I strongly recommend you check it out. If you have a Netflix account it is available on the streaming bit of the sight. Also we have seen "Goemon" which was cool, a little cheesy but still entertaining. Tonight I think we are going with "The man from nowhere" it seems pretty cool.

I think I may do a post every Monday coinciding with these endeavors and giving very brief reviews of the films we watch. Ok well see you later.

Art dump.....

Ok so it's been a few days but here are a few drawings I've done. I've been really into tradition pencil and ink which is what these are. The awkward center spaces are from my scanner being to small and me having to line these up in PS. Well I hope you dig em'.

Story?

Hey there well this is just something I wrote at like one in the morning. No real purpose, no real intentions just started with the first line and built it from there. Anyways I hope you dig it and please, please comment about it with what you think. Good or bad, I still love you :D

The moon shone bright, blanketing the streets with an ominous glare. The night was still and quiet, with nothing but the occasional roar from the patrons in the pub. He walked toward the noise, people meant stories and stories mean information. All faerie tales stem from a grain of truth. This is something he has said repeatedly over the years. As he slowly pushes the door to the pub open he is hit by the sound from within like a wave. Engulfing him, almost overwhelming at first he collects himself and makes his way towards the bar.
"What can I get you?" The bartender rattles off in response to a new face opposite him behind the bar.
"Water." Muttered the traveler. "The roads are long, and the air dry."
"Hasn't rained in quite sometime is true. No one knows why exactly. The people, they prey to the gods to save the crop and deliver rain. But I will tell you friend, the gods, they don't answer. It has people in a bad state." The bartender continues. "People are filled with doubts and some have even been hauled off to the gallows for making proclamations, you see those type of thoughts aren't welcome around here. I find myself in a state of indifference, but such is the tender's way."
Clearing his throat after taking down the first glass the traveler speaks "The people are sure that the lack of rain is a forsaking? There is no suspicion of ill will or misdeeds that may have lead to such and unfortunate state?"
"What are you suggesting my friend? That this is the make of a man? What kind of man may bend the elements of all things to his own will? Surely no such man walks amongst us on this mortal earth." The bartender growing flustered by the remarks of the traveler finds himself in a state of bewilderment at such claims.
"Such men do exist, though when such men have transcended as it were to such a state as to deprive innocents of the barest of natures gifts then they are no longer men. They become something else entirely. These types of men are who I search for. The lost, the forsaken. The one's who would turn against humility and declare themselves above. The damned. Monsters walking amongst men."
The bartender looking shaken and more than a little disturbed asks "And how do you know of such men, such things? Where is it you are from stranger?"
"I am from nowhere. I have no home, no family." The traveler retorted.
"Humph well, we have lodgings if you are looking for a place to lay rest. But I should assure you friend there are no such monster men here. Though I am still hard pressed to believe such things to even exist."
The night went on as nights do and the traveler found himself in a bed smaller than he was tall in a room that looked as if it were cur out of a wardrobe. As the roar from the bar below began to meld and melt into a murmur the traveler drifted into his thoughts and into a sound sleep where his thoughts became dreams. A vivd dream awaited to tell him if he was indeed on the right path.
The vast expanse before him lay like a grand chasm of black space. The air was thick and the atmosphere heavy, pushing down on him with such a pressure. The traveler found himself wandering in the dark and yet he could see perfectly clear. The darkness was not off putting to him, he was not shaken by it's never ending appearance. He continued to move forward, almost being drawn forward. He found himself hearing screeches and clatter. Then the darkness subsided some and a small cabin shown itself to him. The cabin was in a nearby wood and had a very malevolent feel. The traveler knew something nefarious lurked within, something evil. He approached the cabin, cautiously, calculated. Aware to not make any noise. He was trained for such long ago and his skills remain sharp as ever. As he approached the door, slowly, methodically, the door flew open, revealing a creature of hideous form. Shrouded in shadows and hidden in blackness all that the traveler could make out were the creatures eyes, and it's teeth. Large razor like teeth, and then, the creature lunged toward him...
